Our History

No One wishes for their loved ones and family to experience challenges with their health, especially their mind.  This can be life-changing.  Seeing a need for energetic, thought provoking, and guided work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions in Mental Health. We've consistently grown our team, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community.  We will not stop until the lives of those suffering with mental health issues are comforted.  The problem is growing and we need every outstretched hand! There is HOPE!

Our Mission

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using the tools of education, modern medicine, counseling organizations, and data driven models, we provide solutions that we believe can make long-lasting difference in the lives of the challenged.  Though we are small, our footprint is already pressing deep into the earth we serve.

OUR Current Feature story:

Before Mental Illness

It wasn't too long ago when Trinity was graduating from a Virginia University.  She had just finished a Communication Degree with a Minor in Music Industry.  The sky was the limit.  One August evening, she was at a friend's house when a major health scare prompted the call of 911 and a trip to the emergency room.

24 Hospitals

From there, 24 hospitalizations later, she went from a vibrant, healthy, loving girl, to a confused and frustrated person.  What was once a happy-go-lucky, talented, and verbal communications major, was now a catatonic, confused, and delusional young lady.  It made no sense WHY she was behaving so irrationally and incoherently? At first, the Doctors thought there were seizures and damage to the brain.  That turned into several mid-diagnoses including schizophrenia, mania, Bipolar1 and Bipolar2, and others.

After Mental Illness

Since diagnosis, she has lived from day to day, moment to moment.  Because she kept trying to leave her residence (paranoia), the local police fitted her with a monitor to keep her safe.  She recently graduated to a necklace beacon which can be found anywhere in the world if needed.  With her latest medicine regiment, they are seeing a settling of her emotions which is both productive and calming to those around her (So many neighbors ban together to search when she is considered missing!)

It is our goal to help Trinity with her medical expenses and employment opportunities.  She is working on her music and now has a job for 4 hours, 1 day a week.  This is HUGE progress!  PLEASE SUPPORT HER AND THE JUSTICE TRUST!

REASONS TO GIVE

HOW TO HELP: Our families are simply exhausted. The money you are giving will serve several purposes:

LET'S WORK TOGETHER!

  •    Counseling Expenses
  •   Extra curricular programs like painting, pottery, dance lessons for the mentally unstable
  •  Food Cards for Walmart, Kroger, Amazon, etc.. ( Mom or Dad cannot work.  Must stay with child/teen/adult)
  •   Offset Expenses for Families (Ex. Their higher than normal insurance costs due to accidents, etc.)
  •   Purchasing of Service Pets.  (Even adoption from shelters cost extra money.)  Pet care.
  •   Specialized community programs for the mentally ill.  Day out programs. (This gives family a break)
  • .  Mentor program (Assign a mentor to help with day to day activities as well as a confident for the mentally ill)
  •   Bibles and other Christian resources
  •   Other misc. things.  (There are so many unexpected needs)
  •   Helping families with their bills(Water, Electricity, Gas, Hospital Charges, Ambulance Services, and More...)

ANOTHER FEATURED STORY

ANOTHER precious family this month needs help with their water bill. They  have a son, a college graduate from a prestigious university, who 5  years ago began showing signs of a break down. This adult child now has  no ability to work or live on his own.  The young man's only relief,  currently, is getting into the shower, FOR HOURS.  They must shut all  the water in the house off to coax him out, which in many cases has  resulted in him breaking items in the house, without clothes, until the water gets turned back on. The young man has been hospitalized over 20 times in the past few years.  What is the solution?  If he were your boy, what would you do?  Where should they send him?  There are very few to no long-term State Facilities to help.  The private hospitals are tens of thousands a month.  "HELP!", they cry, but suffer silently,  embarrassed of what there family has become.

"There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't."

Helping Those who Are in Need

Your contribution will enable us to support our community and continue helping people like Trinity and our other featured young man. There are so many people who are over the age of 18 that, considered adults, fall between the cracks.  Mental Health, social workers, and county programs can only go so far. Though these people are not standing on the corner, they are in dire need of support from organizations like the Justice Trust. We are profoundly grateful for your generosity. We are committed to stretching every penny to help as many people as possible.
